Pinx Greeting Cards have become a tradition spanning over 25 years. Once you’ve experienced them, you’ll quickly understand how the term “Uncommonly Wonderful” became part of the name and tradition of Pinx greeting cards. These heartfelt creations were created by the incredible artist, Cecie McCaffery, her ability, passion and creativity can be seen in all her endeavors. For those of you new to these heartfelt creations, welcome.
We are touched and inspired by the many kind words of encouragement, fan mail, and the many requests for the return of these classic Pinx Greeting Cards. Your patience and loyalty are appreciated. Pinx Greeting Cards and all the associated Copyrights, logos, and Trademarks, have all been reassembled under the new ownership of Pinx Designs LLC., with the blessings and help of the previous artist, and owner. Pinx Designs is determined to continue the tradition and heartfelt passion of this legacy, and that can only be understood by knowing a little more about Pinx Designs LLC.

Pinx Designs LLC, a California based design company was founded in the coastal city of Camarillo, California by Gene Thomas. Pinx Designs LLC. has worked diligently to acquire all the Copyrights, Logos, and Trademarks of the former (Pinx A Card Co., Inc.), to bring these “Uncommonly Wonderful” cards out of the warehouse and back into the hands of the many loyal fans, and art enthusiasts where they belong.
Meet Gene Thomas
Gene was born in Long Beach California and has since lived in several of the surrounding beach communities. This is where his passion for surfing, skateboarding and art began. Wanting to identify his surfboards and skateboards from all the others on the beach, he started to create distinguishing designs on them to make them unique and identifiable. This is how his passion for art began.
As a young father of two beautiful daughters, art became a fun way to bond with them. They would draw birthday cards and party invitations often, and even mimic some of the characters from Pinx Greeting Cards. Fast forward fifteen years and Pinx became part of the family.
Gene came across Pinx Greeting Cards being stored in a warehouse, that was the beginning of several sleepless nights thinking about the cards. It wasn’t long before he had made the decision to acquire these fantastic pieces of art and get them back where they belonged, somewhere where everyone would be able to enjoy them again. Especially keeping in mind all the kids, expectant parents and grandparents and the many fans in general. All those who might be inspired like his family was. This was the beginning of Pinx Designs LLC.
